This twin tank system is effective against high levels of hydrogen sulfide and all forms of iron (ferric, ferrous, organic and colloidal), as well as iron bacteria. It will also remove chlorine and its disinfection by-products like trihalomethanes and chloramines, heavy metals like arsenic and lead, chemicals like lindane and dieldrin, and reduce the formation of hardness scale. This premium system utilizes 52 pounds (0.3 cubic foot) of our patented KDF®85 material contained in two non-corrosive fiberglass tanks, with a one piece thermoplastic inner liner. Backwashing is controlled by two synchronized commercial grade Clack three-stage controls. NOTE: For effective performance, this equipment requires connection to a water system capable of providing a minimum backwash flow rate of 10 gpm for 20 minutes. Do not use on water containing polyphosphates. Failure to comply with these requirements will void warranty.
