This cartridge is 2-1/2" OD by 9-3/4" and is designed to fit in Standard Housings (Slimline). Use for a guaranteed 9 log (99.9999999%) removal rate of dangerous microorganisms like bacteria, molds, and spores, and a 5 log (99.999%) removal rate of all viruses. In addition, this filter effectively reduces chlorine, its associated disinfection by-products (DBP's) like trihalomethanes (THM's) and chloramines, tastes & odors, volatile organic chemicals like herbicides, insecticides, and pesticides, and lead. The patented dual-media cartridge incorporates the first practical ultrafiltration media contained in a premium powdered, activated, carbon cartridge that will fit all standard 10" housings with minimum pressure drop or flow restriction. Better performance than RO with no water waste, no need to store water, and without stripping water of healthful alkaline minerals. It meets NSF Standard 42 for taste, odor, and chlorine reduction, Standard 53 for cyst reduction and Standard 58 for turbidity reduction. Replace annually or when water flow is diminished, whichever comes sooner.
