The Living Waters™ Refineosoft Water Softener is the world's most intelligent water softener. The computerized Clack valve measures water use and the condition of the resin bed so the unit uses 80% less salt and water to regenerate itself than other types of softeners. Meter is self-diagnostic for easy service. Power outage protective cell means no battery is required to keep timer running. Unit uses soft water to clean itself. No metal (lead) parts to leach into water. So advanced there is not a single nut, screw, or bolt in the design. Besides providing consistent soft water, this unit employs exclusive Softnotech® Resin that removes chlorine, iron, improves taste, eliminates odor and removes carcinogenic trihalomethanes. The resin is contained in a non-corrosive fiberglass tank, with a one piece thermoplastic inner liner. Outer condensation cover is available in black or chrome. The brine tank is a combination brine maker and salt storage vessel. It is made of tough, high-density polyethylene, and features a grid plate for maximum saturation of brine. This unit is ideal for a household of 3-4 persons and water of moderate to severe hardness (up to 25 grains per gallon).
